The Colorado Springs EHS Representative will support the Environmental Health and Safety program at Keysight's Colorado Springs location. Candidate must live within 30 minutes of the site. Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) works in proactive partnership with the business units to protect our employees, our community and the environment. Candidate will develop and implement programs in the areas of Emergency Response, Risk Assessment, ISO 14001, Health Surveillance, Machine Safety, Contractor Safety, & Job Hazard Assessment.


Responsibilities

The Colorado Springs EHS Representative will oversee programs ensuring regulatory compliance in the areas of Emergency Response, Risk Assessment, ISO 14001, Health Surveillance, Machine Safety, Contractor Safety & Job Hazard Assessment. This will include program management, coordination with employees, interface with regulatory agencies, response to incidents, change management, and documentation. Desired areas of experience include:

  • Contractor EHS Management
  • OSHA compliance
  • Performing EHS inspections & assessments such as general building safety, PPE, machine guarding, chemical safety
  • Program development and implementation
  • Emergency Response Management
  • EHS & ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits and program development
  • Documentation and record keeping

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 + years equivalent work experience in the EHS or related field
  • Collaborative approach to working with EHS colleagues, business unit customers, and regulatory agencies
  • Experience with regulatory programs, including a working knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements
  • Desired qualifications:
    • Certifications such as CHMM, CIH, CSP
    • Experience in the implementation of EHS management systems such as ISO 14001 or ISO 45001
    • Cal/OSHA HAZWOPER certification (24-hour Haz Mat Technician, 40-hour, or Incident Commander)
